THE DRINK OF LEGEND
In the old Norse world, a drink was more than something poured into a cup.
It marked the feast. The victory. The oath. The return from battle. It was raised amongst friends and shared around the fire while stories of gods, warriors and distant lands passed from one generation to another.
And from those traditions comes the legend of Eldr Veig.
Our story imagines a mysterious Fire Spirit entwined with the mythology of the North — a drink worthy of the Valkyries, the legendary figures who carried chosen fallen warriors from the battlefield towards Valhalla, the great hall of Odin.
A drink poured in honour of those who had travelled before.
A drink for the journey still to come.
A drink whose story would eventually travel far beyond the northern shores.

THE JOURNEY BEGINS
But the story of Eldr Veig does not remain in the great halls of the North.
It takes to the sea.
Long before modern maps drew neat lines around the world, Norse explorers sailed beyond the horizon in search of new lands, new people and new possibilities.
They travelled east along ancient trading routes.
South towards warmer shores.
West across the open Atlantic.
Our spirits follow those journeys.

MIKLAGARD — SPICED RUM
To the Norse, Constantinople was known as Miklagarðr — the Great City.
Our Miklagard Spiced Rum looks east, towards the trade routes and markets where unfamiliar aromas and precious ingredients arrived from distant lands.
Cardamom. Cinnamon. Rose. Honey. Pistachio.
Rich, aromatic and warming, Miklagard is our interpretation of a spirit transformed by the spices of the East.
NORÐR — GIN
Northwards lies a different landscape.
Pine forests. Wild berries. Cold air. Juniper beneath an open northern sky.
Our Norðr Gin draws its character from that environment, combining roasted juniper, blueberry, Scotch pine, liquorice and carefully selected botanicals.

VINLAND — VODKA
And then the journey turns west.
Across the Atlantic lies Vinland, the name preserved in the Norse sagas for lands reached beyond Greenland.
Our Vinland Vodka takes inspiration from that western wilderness, bringing together blueberry, blackberry and maple.
Fruit, forest and sweetness — a flavour created for the furthest reaches of the voyage.
