Terms & Conditions, Privacy & Cookies
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Eldr Veig website and purchases made through our online store. They also explain how we collect and use personal information and how we use cookies and similar technologies.
Please read this information carefully before using our website or placing an order.
1. About Us
Eldr Veig is a trading name of Harley's Tavern Limited, a company registered in England and Wales.
Company number: 16009772
VAT number: 494002602
Registered and trading address:
Harley's Tavern Limited
35A High Street
Battle
TN33 0EA
United Kingdom
Email: sales@eldrveig.com
Throughout these Terms, "Eldr Veig", "we", "us" and "our" mean Harley's Tavern Limited trading as Eldr Veig.
2. Age Restriction
We sell alcoholic products. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase alcohol from Eldr Veig.
By placing an order containing alcohol, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and legally entitled to purchase alcohol in the United Kingdom.
We may use age-verification measures during the ordering process and our delivery partners may require proof of age before handing over an order.
Our couriers may operate a Challenge 25 policy. Anyone who appears to be under 25 may therefore be asked to provide acceptable photographic identification showing that they are aged 18 or over.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably believe the purchaser is under 18 or where appropriate age verification cannot be completed.
Alcohol must not be purchased on behalf of anyone under the age of 18.
3. Products
We take reasonable care to ensure that descriptions, photographs, prices, alcoholic strengths, bottle sizes and other product information displayed on our website are accurate.
Product packaging, labels and presentation may occasionally vary from images displayed on the website. Colours may also appear differently depending on the device or screen being used.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
4. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Placing an item in your shopping basket does not reserve that product.
Occasionally, an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed or may be awaiting further stock.
If an item is out of stock or on back order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. We may offer you the opportunity to wait for further stock or cancel the affected item for a refund.
5. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable unless clearly stated otherwise.
Delivery charges will be shown during checkout before you place your order.
We may change prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to contact you before accepting or processing the affected order.
6. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied during checkout is complete and accurate.
You will be given an opportunity to review your order before completing your purchase.
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
We will normally confirm acceptance by email. If we cannot accept your order, we will inform you and refund any payment already taken for products we cannot supply.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
By providing payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use that payment method.
Payments may be processed securely by third-party payment providers. Where this is the case, we do not normally receive or retain your complete payment-card details.
8. Shipping & Delivery
We currently deliver within the United Kingdom using a courier service.
Orders will normally be sent using a 48-hour courier service once the order has been processed and dispatched.
The 48-hour service refers to the courier service selected following dispatch and does not guarantee that an order will arrive within 48 hours of being placed.
Delivery times may be affected by weekends, public holidays, courier delays, adverse weather or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Tracking information will be supplied where available.
If an item is unavailable or on back order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Unless another delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable UK consumer law.
Age verification may be required upon delivery.
9. Cancellation & Change-of-Mind Returns
If you are a UK consumer purchasing online, you normally have the right to cancel a qualifying purchase without giving a reason.
You may notify us that you wish to cancel from the time you place your order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods.
Once you have told us that you wish to cancel, you must return the goods within a further 14 days.
Please contact us at sales@eldrveig.com before returning an order so that we can provide return instructions.
Unless the products are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you will normally be responsible for the cost of returning them.
Returned products should be securely packaged and, where applicable, unopened and in their original condition.
You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling the goods beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and condition.
10. Refunds
Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods together with the cost of our standard outbound delivery service where required by law.
If you selected a more expensive delivery service than our standard service, we are not required to refund the additional delivery cost.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
We may withhold a refund until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be processed within the timescales required by applicable UK consumer law.
11. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If goods arrive faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@eldrveig.com.
Where appropriate, please provide your order number and photographs showing any damage to the product and packaging.
Depending on the circumstances, UK consumer law may entitle you to a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy.
Where we are responsible for a return because goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will cover reasonable return costs.
Nothing in these Terms restricts your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations or other applicable consumer legislation.
